The Conservationists of Tomorrow are the Youth of Today!
The youth of Essex County just love to learn about environmental conservation! They are hungry for knowledge, and we like to provide them with multiple topics to learn about. From Environmental Field Days to WaterFest to the Wacky Water Summer Program, we keep our youth engaged!
Wacky Water is back for another year!
We are happy to say that Wacky Water will be visiting Summer Youth Programs across the watershed! We have an absolute blast educating youth in a super fun, interactive style. Thanks to funds from Lake Champlain Basin Program, we are able to bring the wackiness back for the fourth year in a row!
This summer we had the opportunity to work with four of the summer youth programs in Essex County. Youth learned about several different aspects of conservation, including wildlife, tree and fish identification, soil, and water! Check out some of the fun below.
